Medical Pain Management
Living with pain can be a reality that every age group faces.
Medical Pain Management physicians, who are highly trained and nationally awarded, specialize in interventional techniques that manage many forms of acute, chronic and debilitating cancer pain. The latest treatment modalities are available for lumbar pain disorders, spinal decompression, regenerative medicine and implantable devices that control pain without opioid addiction.
MPMS nurses are experienced in the field and understand the unique medical and emotional needs of pain patients.
Acute pain signals that there is a problem in your body; the perception of pain is highly individualized. When pain is not resolved after medical treatment lasting a duration of six months or more, the pain then is considered to be chronic in nature.
Chronic pain often causes dramatic changes in a person’s ability to function and lead a normal life. Early intervention is the key in evaluation and treatment. This can reduce the impact of pain and restore a patient’s quality of life.

Summit Radiology
Since 2006, Summit Radiology has been offering an alternative to in-hospital medical imaging. Summit provides the same state-of-the art equipment and diagnostic services found in a hospital setting – MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography and arthrogram – but in a friendly, relaxing environment.
Summit now offers Contrast-Enhanced Spectral Mammography, an advanced mammography test. Summit is the first and only facility in the region to offer this specialized mammogram.
Since Summit is an independent, locally owned business and is a smaller free-standing facility, it is able to maintain a lower overhead than its competitors. Charges for services are a fraction of the cost of other area facilities and hospitals.
Appointments are scheduled 45 minutes apart, leaving plenty of time for technologists to understand their patients’ needs and to ensure those needs are being met. Compassionate care is a focus of each technologist. In addition to individualized attention, Summit also has a 24-hour turnaround for all imaging reports. The prompt response is especially appreciated by referring physicians, who rely on Summit for analysis and interpretation.
