Shoulder Expert Joins Beloit Health Staff

BELOIT, Wis. – Beloit Health System is pleased to announce that Dr. John Orwin, University of Wisconsin Orthopedic Surgeon, is now seeing patients in Beloit. Dr. Orwin is providing sports medicine services at the Occupational Health and Sports Medicine Center on Lee Lane in Beloit.

Dr. Orwin sees patients for surgical consultation and post-surgical follow-up visits and is performing outpatient shoulder surgery at Beloit Health System’s hospital. He specializes in arthroscopic shoulder surgery for patients who sustain sports or occupational injuries. He also provides medical coverage for Wisconsin Badger men’s and women’s basketball, track/cross country, swimming, crew, tennis, golf and volleyball.

Dr. Orwin is an associate professor in the department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in sports medicine.
